Stacy has been working in the Entertainment Industry for ten years, as a Freelance Graphic Artist, Designer, 3D Computer Sculpture and website Designer and currently is developing an integrated approach to All Things Visual- A.TV ( Hi-I.Q.Limited) for the proposed First Annual Ipod awards, through her own Company, Confront Grafix.
After combining work and continued artistic development for most of her professional life, Stacy took the courageous decision to accept a one year position at the prestigious Florence Academy Of Arts, in Florence, Italy and has now become a unique artistic Tsunami in a sea of Hollywood mediocrity, as she hones her sculpting skills under the tutelage of the World renowned Sculpture Jonathan Bickart.
Born in Dallas, but definitely a small town girl, having been raised on a quarter horse ranch Stacy was nurtured by a powerful female energy her mother Gwen who was an executive programmer in a predominantly male industry. This theme has been evident both Stacys personal life and in her professional development
Stacys academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University at Long Beach, an Associate of Arts Degree from Santa Monica College both obtained whilst fostering a successful career.
Beginning as a graphic artist in the Music Industry Stacy created club posters, CD Covers for Chrysalis records and Web Sites such as rockularpopography.com, creativeshakara.com and djcrash.com. Assisted on advertising campaigns for such diverse entities as Hot pockets, Playa Vista Condominiums and Kirin Beer soon followed as Stacy kept her artist juices alive by creating the exploding piano special effect in R. Kellys A Womans Threat.
Feeling the need to expand her intellectual horizons, Stacy began creating large scale Center Pieces, a move which was almost immediately rewarded with the commissioning of the 11ft tall Jeweled Willow Tree- Centerpiece for the Warner Grammy After Party (2005), and the 6ft. tall Buddha statue that graces Hollywoods premier celebrity hangout, Vanguard Nightclub.
