Hmm let's see... am a peppy-ish girl with a corny sense of humor and tender heart. I have hopes and dreams of being a writer one day but thus far have lacked the time, motivation or muse to take it up seriously. I've been through enough life lessons to exhaust me and have gained a lot of wisdom from them.My heart has felt joy and my heart has felt loss. I am open to giving advice if you need it...it's free and better than a fortune cookie...but don't take it too seriously because your life is YOURS and at the end of the day when you rest your head... it's your heart that has to be at peace with the decisions that you make.My words of wisdom are:-Think of the consequences of your action before you take action..
-Respect yourself enough to omit people from your life when they hurt you.. but forgive them for YOUR sake and move on.
-Trust yourself enough to be alone..
-Be happy with the here and now because you will look back and wish you would have..
-Know that everything has a reason and a season..Anyone that knows me, knows that I love my family dearly and remain very close to them. We've been through a lot this year with my lil' sister Kasie. She suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury last November. She was in a coma for 2 months. By God's grace she pulled through like a soldier and she is doing great... I had the blessed opportunity to see her progress each day... To know she is going to be in college this fall is nothing short of a miracle. From her triumph I have learned so much about perseverance, strength and love.About work...I love my job so much. Basically, I have the wonderful opportunity to make some things happen in the world. I LOVE IT!! My one prayer is to leave this world a better place in some little way when I go.
My current ambition is to continue working in the position I am in now while obtaining my masters degree in Public Health. I love to conquer Public Health Policy Issues.My general philosophy: We were put on Earth to love and be loved. I want to live a peaceful life of purpose... :-) Oh my gosh I sound like a beauty pageant contestant... LOL! Anyway I hope today finds ya smilin'. I would love to hear from you. :-D
