At some point in life we all pray for a hero or we go searching for one. Why is that? Maybe it’s the inner child in us which led us to believe that only a hero could save us. So when we feel we’ve found that hero, we honor them. We sometimes honor them for different reasons. At times for their daring, sometimes for their bravery, sometimes for the way they make you feel, but we mostly admire heroes because at one point or another we all dream of being recued. But of course if the right hero doesn’t come along, we just have to rescue ourselves.
