About Me

Well hello there...
...Apparently you have found me on 'Myspace.'
Charmed to meet you, good to see you!
I do not do much of anything on myspace other than connect with friends and affiliates. If you're viewing this profile, it's probably because you're looking for me specifically. If not, well... hello!
To those who may not yet know, I promote and scout artists for the Backspace Gallery . This is a slight step back from when I used to Direct the gallery, which the Gallery owner (Eric) now oversees, as Backspace has taken some time to re-evaluate it's target audience. I stepped down because my 'paying' day job was not giving me enough time to pick up any extras... that sadly included Backspace.
I also work for Adobe Systems which makes the popular series of products for graphical, video, and photo editing, among other things. Our most popular product is Photoshop, which you've probably heard of or used. I teach and train photoshop freelance, for a reasonable price. If interested hit me up.
Right now, I live in NE Portland (Close in, near NE 20th Ave and E. Burnside) I'll br moving in about 4 months down the road into a classic and fully restored mid 1800's house, which should give me a lot more freedom to shoot in a studio environment. The house is ...beautiful. Once I move I'll have a house warming bash, so keep in touch.

Behind the scenes, I’m a professional freelance photographer. My background education and true passion is in photography. I shoot glam/fashion and fine art portfolio work mostly. I try and keep my photography labeled: 'art/enjoyment' as opposed to 'financially binding.' In other words I shoot to advance my own portfolio, or the portfolio of a model, but not to earn an income. This leaves me with lots of leeway, and lots of time to expand on creative ideas, without having to shoot a lot of junk just for the sake of earning a few bucks. I am what you may call a weekend professional photographer with a day job. I have held numerous career jobs in photography, and can say - in truth - I would rather shoot on my own time as opposed to for the sake of cash flow. If you're a model, and want to shoot with me, let me know. I'm always setting up shoots! There is a link to see some of my work online to the left of my photo at the top of this page, or you can just click here!
That’s all for now... feel free to reach me anytime, I check back regularly for new messages. Thanks!

People who are already my friends, or who are friends of my friends. I'll even consider meeting people who are affiliated with friends of my friends... otherwise... I’m always up for meeting artists looking to break out into the Portland underground scene. I'm also always up for 'maybe' meeting new people, but i'll be honest... I am pretty specific and picky about who I meet, and why.

Heroes:

My Biological Aunt Debbie, who despite a great many odds, saved my life when i was about a year and a half old. I'm Adopted, and Aunt Debbie saved me from infant abuse and neglect, which i will never blame anyone (Mom, Dad, or family) for, but it gave me a better chance to have a normal life in a loving family. Also, my three sisters, Felicia, Jerrica, and Malinda... (who are also biologically related to me), especially Jerrica for finding me after sooo long, and for helping me to connect with my sisters for the first time in my 'whole' life this year (2007)... Also, all of my families for being there for me... and for helping me reach closure in losing my biological mom, Marie, rest her soul. Thank you... you have made my life so much more complete, and bright.
