Here are some press Quotes:
Daisy Ricochet is one of the few "indie" bands that I have really got into in the last little while. The reason for this is they are actually good. Actually, I wouldn't even consider them "indie" they are more of an alternative/rock band that writes infectious songs and hooks. Anyways, Daisy Ricochet has put together a very solid record that has garnered them comparisons to artists like the Foo Fighters and The Pixies.
"Need" is what Daisy Ricochet considers a "mini LP", not a full LP. It consists of 10 solid rock songs that will break your perceptions of what rock is today. Lead singer and guitarist Neil Cabana provides a unique yet soothing voice that makes each track unique in its own right. Matt Prine is the bands other guitarist who helps lay down the unique guitar work heard on this LP. The band is rounded out by Brett Sharbaugh on bass and Carlo on drums.
The mini LP starts off with "Now or never" which is a song that builds momentum the longer you listen to it. The chorus is very catchy and could be a radio hit. This song rolls over into "Undertow" which is the best song on the mini LP. It has some of the most exciting guitar work that I have heard in a long time. You can hear the riff in your head long after the song is done. Mix this in with lyrics dealing with serenity and you have a song that could get this band a major label record deal.
Mid way through the mini LP you hit a song called "Get Out". This song is based around rising action. The music builds up then explodes when the chorus hits. I really like the vocals on the lyric "Get Out!" because it really balances out the mellow vocals in the rest of the track. "Walls" and "Fix" are two more tracks that could easily be radio hits because they are so well written.
The combination of the musicianship and the tremendous songwriting will help Daisy Ricochet make a mark on the music world. Do yourself a favor and pick up their mini LP, I think its only $10, and be introduced to a new rock sound that could be taking the world by storm in a few years.

Need Sep 2004 Laden with heavy guitar (even Pixies-like at times), but always with a medlodic approach to songs. Quite honestly I can listen to guitar like this all of the day and all of the night. Add Neil Cabana's expressive voice and you have a potent brew. It is (good in-car music). It sounds so condescending to say this is really pleasant music - but it is. There are many good tracks - "Get Out" has some great shouted backing vocals and "Walls" rocks beautifully and is delivered with real passion. "Ugly Words" is positively anthemic in an Indie rock sort of way.

"New York based 'Daisy Ricochet' of Pink Lady Records deliver an enjoyable 10 track melodic pop/rock, indie/rock album 'Need'. Fronted by the multi - talented Neil Cabana (lead vocals/guitar/songwriter and producer!) They have really made an effort with this CD and it damn well shows. Each track stands out and is original, with wonderful and mysterious lyrics. 'DR' is a refreshing change to what I have been hearing lately.

"Fix", has a clear pop sensibility. It's the kind of song, that if you heard it on the radio, you'd bop your head. And, if you knew the words, you'd probably want to sing along."
