THE OVERLORDS came into existence in 1987, when two Copenhagen-based acts, A COLONY and RUSSIA HEAT merged into one. A threesome remained: Rune B, Ian Ion and Dick D'Ppress. Determined to bewilder the world, they began shaping their breakfast-TV mentality into electronic beatscapes.The keyword to determine THE OVERLORDS' particular mixture of light and shadow, of dark atmosphercs and lighthearted wit is: Awareness.
