About Me

Ok. So...Adam and I are getting married in June and even though planning the wedding is making me sick to my stomach, I cannot wait to be married! I can't believe how blessed I am to be marrying my best friend and starting a family with him. I have 4 adorable nieces and I can't wait to see who has the first boy in the family!! Family is number one in my life and I think I have the most awesome family in the world!! Adam has a pretty freakin' wonderful family as well and they have made me feel so welcomed. I truly could not ask for more! I'm very shy and don't like a lot of attention on me. Stick me in the middle of a room with a bunch of people staring at me and I'll have a panic attack (I know...I don't know how in the world I'm going to make it through my own wedding). Crowds make me nervous. I love reminiscing with friends and talking about random things for hours. I'm pretty quiet but I eventually talk once I get to know someone. I've been through my wild girl phase and often wonder "did I really do that?" then I'm quickly assured by several albums full of incriminating photos. I have a very loud (I sometimes wonder if I was adopted!), big, awesome family and I wish we didn't all live so far apart but I guess it gives me an excuse to travel! I love taking pictures, finding interesting quotes, collecting postcards from around the world, watching funny movies with a big vat of ice cream and brownies, and of course, going to the beach. I love being outside but absolutly HATE all bugs and spiders. I'm extremely indecisive usually because I over think things and freak out. If you know me, my inability to make a decision has probably made you mad more than once...for this, I am sorry. If I don't know you - I apologize ahead of time. I think there's nothing more boring than talking about politics. I love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with a big glass of milk. I can watch reruns of Friends to the point where I know every line, and still laugh through the entire episode. I'd rather stay home and eat pizza then go out to a fancy restaurant (I'd probably be searching the menu for chicken fingers anyways). and um...i'm a jeans and t-shirt kinda girl but I love to get all dressed up every now and then.

My Interests

writing, photography, traveling, laughing at inside jokes, relaxing, going to the beach with my family, trying not to kill myself while skiing, watching and listening to ivy and tommy talk about communism, movies, nutrition, climbing Stone Mountain, football, challenging comments that I drink too slow, laughing at molly while she keeps talking and nobody's listening, looking at old family pictures, reading the latest health research articles... um...almost anything except politics, cars, basketball, and the crazy amount of money celebrities make and the ridiculous ways they spend it.

I'd like to meet:

I believe I already met him :) oh, and Jake Gyllenhaal...oooh oh, and Ryan Gosling. that's it. ok, and Ryan Reynolds too.

Music:

pretty much anything goes except jazz, and R&B. ...If I'm in a silly mood Hip Hop is pretty fun to make fun of. I love me some 80's rock and as much as I don't want to admit it, I think I've warmed up to country! oh, and don't ask me "who sings this song?" because I don't know.

Movies:

The Bucket List, Donny Darko, Blow, Airplane, Spaceballs, Top Gun, Commando, the Terminators (except #3), all the Rocky movies, Tango and Cash, The sound of music, Gone with the wind, The Notebook, Dirty dancing, The little Mermaid :), Police academy 3, N.L. Christmas vacation....there's a LOT

Television:

I don't know what's wrong with me but I totally lost intrest in all my favorite new shows...but I'll still watch re-runs of Friends, King of Queens, and Everybody Loves Raymond even though I've seen them all a billion times.

Books:

my attention span really isn't that long but I'm sure to get half way through any good psychological thriller.

Heroes:

My mom is my hero...she gave me life, saved my life, and given me everything I've wanted in life. She's worked harder than anyone I know and has made me become a stronger person b/c of it. She's taught me what's important and what's not...and even though we fuss at each other sometimes, I'd lose my mind without her!
