Wesley Lunsford

The melodic and soulful lyrics of singer/songwriter Wesley Lunsford were enough to score him a personal invite to perform live on stage with one of his major influences, Gavin Degraw. This was the boost Wesley needed to decide to pursue music. Music being a passion from his youth, Wesley grew up listening to old Rod Stewart albums and his father strumming his '73 Alvarez. The instrument that first caught his eye however, was the violin. Not having to be coaxed by his mother to take lessons, Wesley began playing Suzuki at age 7 and continued lessons for 5 years, all while singing in church choirs and plays. Hailing originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, Wesley is now a graduate of Texas A&M University residing in Austin, Texas. Wesley's showmanship on Austin stages caught the eye and ear of Blue October's Matt Noveskey. Plans are in the making for a recording and production deal. Through shameless self promotion Wesley has landed radio spots, opening and headlining gigs from College Station's Zapato's all the way to Austin's Stubb's BBQ, as well as special appearances with Better Than Ezra and Gavin Degraw, undeniably gaining fans every step of the way.
