Accidently On Purpose

About Me

NEW VIDEO!
From the depth of Dayton's notorious underground emerges the intense, post-punk gritty sound of Accidently on Purpose. Electricity intoxicates from the first strum to the final jolt, incinerating those who lie in their wake. Only the unique combination of these four, seasoned veterans of the Dayton rock scene could produce such a full frontal assault fearlessly led by breathtakingly raw vocals. They'll leave you begging for more.~~This is Dayton, Ohio, the home of Accidently on Purpose (AOP), a band that takes its surroundings and defies them as well as defines them. Danger, in sonic form. Uneasiness and curses backed with blazing guitars, red-hot bass, deafening drums and an electric shrill. Being a relatively new band that's hungry for a label, hungrier for an ear and downright famished for a chance, AOP takes every opportunity to attack.Take Nomeansno, Shellac and Thin Lizzy and put a screaming banshee with tattooed sleeves in front of it and stand back. This dog isn't rabid, but it's definitely mad. You can be the dead or the dying or next. Can you hear the prayers in your ear? -- Shawn Abnoxious
