About Me

My Roots are in the Southwest, New Mexico and Texas, but I was raised on the East Coast. I've been living in Los Angeles since 1991. At El Camico College I made friends with Jason Gajda who created the band Fred Wilson FBI. In 1997 I joined Fred Wilson and for the next 5 years we created a unique Hard Hittin Crime Rock sound that got us alot of local attention and landed some songs in movies, TV commercials, and we even scored a few films. It also introduced me to the world of producing and engineering music. Since 2002 I have recorded and/or produced music with the likes of Doug Pettibone(Lucinda Williams), Gia Shambodi(Bruce Springsteen), Glen Cornick(Jethro Tull), and local artists Cortney Leigh Heins, Jerry McLean, Tom Jasper, Deb Offner, Keith Wolf, Mr. Mike Schadel, The LongGoners, The Lonely Years, and more. I play around town with several of these artist on guitar, bass, mandolin, lap steel, and dobro, depending on the situation. In 2006 I met John Elliot (The Hereafter) and began recording and performing with him. John and I recently completed The Hereafter's second album 'Before We Fall' at my home studio in Redondo Beach. John is currently touring the Earth and I'll soon be joining him on a California Stint. As a life long Rocky fan I auditioned last summer for the Frank Stallone Band and passed it. I currently play around town and across the country with Frank and the band, Ronnie Ciago and Mike Pachelli. Our next show TBA. In the meantime I'm working on an album with Anita Mansfield with whom I've found a kinship in our Irish blood and sense of humor. We are currently begining to play around this weird and spectacular town we live in, Los Angeles. Stay tuned.
