Trelee started singing at the tender age of 2 years old. She was involved in her church choir throughout her youth and was a part of many singing groups during her adolescent and teenage years. F.L.A.V.A, the last singing group that she as involved with, has been the opening act for several artists.Trelee later decided to venture out on her own and become a solo artist. She is currently working on her first solo album, which will debut in June 2008. Trelee would like to thank all of her fans for all of their support and encouragement. Keep checking back for more info in the future for upcoming shows prior to the album release.Some of yall know me from way back in the day and was shocked that I stopped singing for so long, and some of you have just met me and never realized that singing has always been a passion of mine. Music is in my heart and soul and I have missed it being such a big part of my life. I'm a little nervous about this project only because I took a ten year break, (I'm only 25 LOL!), but for me it has been like getting back on a bike. The studio is easier to record in and my writing has never been better. I appreciate the love and support from all my old and new friends! Stay tuned to hear snippets of my album and dates for upcoming venues.What inspires me......I am what I call backwords writer. I very seldomely write a song just out of the clear blue sky and think of the music to go behind it. I actually write to music..I beleive the music tells me what to sing to it. I write about real situations that have happened to me, or that I was able to hear or witness through a firend. The album I am recording write now is tentively being called "My Diary". All the music has been inspired by situations in my life right now.I sing real music that means something to me, and I feel blessed to be working with a composer/producer that allows so much room for my creativity.
