~~~ Imminent Demise is a band that does not follow trends. That does not compromise their beliefs to adjust to society's standards. They are a band of individuals, playing their own brash sort of extreme, brutal metal. They do not represent religion, nor do they side with politics. They are about standing for being independent with their own opinions and thoughts. A Martyr, so to speak, to stand for the cause of being their own! It has only just begun. The band originated from two successful North Eastern Indiana bands, Something To Die For and Shroud in summer 2005. Imminent Demise formed to create their own version of extreme brutal metal. Having met through the local scene, Guitarist Alec, Bassist Jared, and Drummer Eric soon developed a strong friendship and common interests in music. In July 2005, Alec approached Eric about a new project with himself and Jared on guitar, and a new unknown vocalist to the scene, Scott, to do vocals. After a few sessions together, the band came to find a style of their own. A sound in which they had been looking for all along. A new determination had been bonded. After a year and a half together, Imminent Demise is hard at work completing their debut album "DIE FOR THE CAUSE", to be released through a small independent label in late Spring 2007.
