Movies:

My favorite movies are "Poetic Justice" (Tupac & Janet Jackson), "Gladiator", " Sarafina!", "G.I Jane”, "Juice" really any movie with Tupac in it,"Black Orpheus", "A Huey P Newton Story", "She Hate Me” just about anything directed by Spike Lee. Some of the funniest movies to me are, "The Wood" and " The Bestman", "Friday", "Wedding Crashers”. Oh and “Brown Sugar" and “ Love and Basketball”. I’m a sucker for a good love story and romance. Me being an actress it's hard to sit and watch bad acting so I like very few movies, but I will see them.

Television:

Some of my favorite T.V shows are The Wayne’s Brothers, the Jamie Fox show, oh and Girlfriends, Americas Next Model, Laguna Beach (season1-2 only), 106 & Park, Sex and the city, Soul food, Fresh Prince... um The Jefferson’s and Living Single.I like to watch re-runs of old shows, those were the funniest

Books:

One of my favorite authors is Toni Morrison, I loved her book Song of Soloman, I'm trying to make it a point to read all of her books. I also love Tupac' poetry book The rose that grew from Concrete and one of my favorite poets is Langston Hughes , I'm currently reading Eldridge Cleaver's Soul on Ice and I'm about to start reading Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison. I love all different kinds of books, like I said b4, especially ones by black authors. I read because it allows me to expand my mind and use my imagination which is an important skill for an actor. If you have any suggestions of good books for me to read I would love to hear them.

Heroes:

My MOTHER, god-mom and my auntie are my personal hero’s and salvation. Their are so many African American hero's that I want to acknowledge, but their a many more who go unannounced and unrecognized because of our decadent American society chooses to continue to try and keep us in the dark about our past. Huey P. Newton, Nelson Mandela, Malcolm X, MLK, Angela Davis, all the women who had anything to do with the black Panther Movement, Johnny Africa, Richard Write, Fredrik Douglass, Nat Turner, Sidney Potier…. the list goes on, thank you
