Cutthroats play a swaggering, yet conscious style of alternative rock that grabs you by the heart and won't let go.
The energy that surrounds this band of pirates is infectious, and the sticky impression that their music leaves on you is hard to wash off.
Cutthroats were formed in the spring of 2005 with a mutual love for the decadence of Hollywood's Sunset Strip rock n' roll glamour of the 80's, the timeless hooks of The Stones generation, the melodies of folk and country and the modern garage rock revival.
Making their bones playing the LA and OC circuit, the boys have sharpened their style and created a vivacious blend of lyric and melody based alternative rock and roll that's a damn good time.

Fronted by lead singer and songwriter Johnny Blackstock, whose stimulating lyrics mesh effortlessly to the rhythms Trevor “The Bone†Jensen’s drunken bass lines and drummer Harry Columb’s heart pounding beats create, while serving as a perfect complement to Australian born Brett “Stress†Walker’s razor sharp guitar playing.
