Herks! My name is Skutch. I live in a very rainy city in the Pacific Northwest named Eugene,Oregon. I moved here in in the 90s after previous locales Galveston Island,Texas,Austin,Pittsburgh,PA,Bolder,CO, and Seatlle,WA. I play guitar and sing in the hauntcore band Lucika. In 2005 our debut album LUCIKA "Unnerving Depth of Black"was released on our D.I.Y. label Stolen Ghost Records. In 2006 we put out a single for our song "Shroud". Its a limited edition(500) clear vinyl pressing which is a split 7 inch with our buddies "On The First Day...They Were Kittens". It was released as a colaboration between Stolen Ghost Records and No Easter Records. Spring 2007 we released a 5 song EP on CD entitled LUCIKA "The Mangler"(Stolen Ghost) . After the band was nearly destroyed in a Dec.2007 hit and run car wreck ,Lucika regrouped and responded in late April 2008 with a new 7 inch single entitled "Flight 2039",which was released as a limited edition of 250 hand-numbered w/ the first 100 red colored vinyl . We are currently touring,writing and recording new material for our next full length album "Bleeding the Monolith". It is fiction based on my years as a night-time cabdriver. I hope to publish it by the end of 2009. Although my art is generally darkwitted, I am a hopeless optimist on the inside of this infinite beyond. I like champagne and I mostly eat soup and crackers. PS. My hometown of Galveston Island/Bolivar Texas was almost completely washed off the map recently by a horrendous storm(Hurricane Ike). Its gone,game over. That is just one of a hundred reasons I moved out west. Oregon rules. I have met some of the best peeps on Earth here in Eugene. ps.Funny,but true...i once toured Japan singing broadway showtunes.lol
