i'm a big stone building that holds a bunch of gallegos year-round. 'cept july 26 to whenever the league starts. then i hibernate cuz all of you go to spain and leave me here. wtf. i wanna go to. but i used to be a ginormous building on 11th street in lower manhattan, till we started leasing the place and it became known as webster hall, u might've heard of it no? well, after that we didn't really have a building for a while. so i chilled in circulo. then i moved to this shithole location in Long Island City. Building was nice, but the location sucked. After a couple years they found me this place in astoria. Its really nice. They fixed it up, and they even bought the property behind me so all you gallegos could park there. And a couple of you even live in that shitty house. Some of the activities that undergo in me are drunken gallegos watching soccer live on weekends, and sometimes during the week too. They get all drunk and rowdy. Well you know how gallegos are. But they never get too out of hand, just a lot of yelling. I also house many folkloric activities, such as boys and girls blowing on large sticks (a.k.a. bagpipes). And also boys and girls dancing and frolicking around in circles to appear as a folkloric gallego dance. Also, about once a month, in my basement i hold parties. Its more of a youth-oriented scene. 18 to enter, 21 to drink (ahahhah, sshh!). And every now and then i have a dinner-dance. Basically just another excuse to eeveryone to drink, sing, and yell.www.discobaja.com
