My Interests

I LOVE LIVE MUSIC!! All genres... and I am extremely grateful to count many wonderful musicians as personal friends... I LOVE TO TRAVEL!! Some of my favorite places on earth are Negril, Jamaica, Amsterdam, London, Los Angeles and Atlanta... I LOVE ALL THAT "HIPPIE DIPPIE" STUFF!! I am an old spirit who truly believes we have all been here before... I love psychics, runes, angel cards and astrology... I consider myself very spiritual, but I am not at all fond of organized religions...

I'd like to meet:

My mother died when I was 15, so I'd love to "meet" her now as a grown up. Among the living - I'd love to share a great meal and lively conversation with Jon Stewart, Bill Clinton and their wives! And then there are my not-so-secret crushes on John Mayer, Elvis Costello, "Sayid, The Torturer" and Eric Stromer (the hunky handyman).

Music:

I promote smooth jazz radio on behalf of artists like Acoustic Alchemy, The Rippingtons, David Benoit, Lee Ritenour, Gerald Albright, Earl Klugh, Paul Taylor, Paul Brown, Norman Brown, Marc Antoine, Eric Marienthal and many more... My personal taste run pretty wide - from CSN&Y to Incubus to Michael Hedges to Joni Mitchell to Fourplay to Keane to Miles Davis to Joss Stone to The Beatles to O'2L to Eric Clapton to John Mayer to Counting Crows to... wow, this could go on a long time!! And one more thing - I'll tell you a little secret - Claude Debussey's "Clair de Lune" makes me cry EVERY time I hear it!************************ MY CURRENT PROJECTS INCLUDE:

These are the handwritten lyrics to my all time favorite song:

Movies:

WORTH WATCHING OVER AND OVER: AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH - Al Gore's documentary about global warming... I was thrilled that Al got an Oscar AND the Nobel Peace Prize! Now if he could just be PRESIDENT - like he was elected!! Booyah!!

Television:

My absolute favorite is "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart". I'm waaaay into "LOST" and Sayid The Torturer. I also watch "Grey's Anatomy", "Ugly Betty", "Weeds" and "House" (thank goodness for TIVO!) also... but otherwise, I'd rather just leave CNN running in the background while I do other things...

Books:

I would highly recommend: "He's Just Not That Into You" to all of the dating ladies out there. I also loved "The Four Agreements" - a little book that changed how I think about myself and my relationships with others, and "The Power Of Now" - another book that helped me to focus on and live in the present. A good friend turned me on to EAT PRAY LOVE - one woman's search for everything across Italy, India and Indonesia - by Elizabeth Gilbert. It's given me a new mantra: STOP WEARING A WISH-BONE WHERE YOUR BACK-BONE OUGHT TO BE!

Heroes:

JON STEWART!! MARC EMERY!! ERIC STROMER!! People who tell me the truth - even when I don't really want to hear it...
