Well hello there and who might you be?! Hmm. I'm Sophie Charlotte Kemsley. If you're going to use my surname please spell it correctly. There's just one L and clearly no B's.
I have the privilege to come from the postcard-perfect town of Watford.
If you don't come from Watford, you probably won't know why this is a privilege. Well it just is, in some obscure way I have not yet had the joy to discover.
Thankfully I spend the majority of my time oop North in Lancaster where I attend the legend Uni with my legend friends. Most of them are Northerners, and I revel in their accents. Particularly when Rachel precedes a rant with "Am not bein fookin foony boot..." Beautiful. I'm in Lonnie College, but I'm an honourary Furnessian too:-) Like many other Lancastrians I love the Carleton. Nothing beats a drunken sing-song on a Wednesday evening in Morecambe. And you can always measure your drunkeness the next morning by seeing how much tissue paper is entwined on your heel.
I recently went to Canada and had a wonderful time backpacking with various amusing characters. It made me realise that Watford's not the best place in the world to live. There are only so many times you can walk through the remains of somebody's floor-embracing kebab in your nicest shoes before you start to realise you want out.
Don't lose those who already love you by trying to win those who never will
I can be rather eccentric, and laugh about 75% of the time at whatever there is to laugh at, stupid things that no one else finds funny. I thrive on doing silly things for a laugh. Some people might see this and think that I'm slightly strange. Perhaps they're right, but those who really know me can see past that side of me. And to be honest they're the only ones whose opinions I give a stuff about. I enjoy the way I live my life...I'd rather people poke their nose up at me for who I am, than like me for who I'm not.
Some people will only associate with those who are pretty. These are the ugliest people you'll ever meet
Don't ever talk to me about Tesco. The experience completely scarred my perspective of humankind. And I'm sure you'd rather hear about things that are a bit more interesting than the time the old lady shouted at me because the price of the papaya came up different than it said on the rack bla bla
I enjoy doing very obscure things; like shopping and seeing friends. And listening to music. I think you'll find no one else enjoys doing those. Clearly.
My friends and family mean absolutely everything to me, as they do to most people I guess. I find it very hard to trust people. Those I do trust must thus feel honoured :-) I would do absolutely anything for any of my friends, and I couldn't really give a shit about anyone else :-)
