66Slowride-66 is a gigging, three piece band from Pueblo Colorado. The group consists of three individuals. Ron Morrison on guitar, bass, lead & harmony vocals, John Morrison on guitar, bass, lead & harmony vocals, and John Marrella on drums, lead & harmony vocals + vocal sound effects (you have to hear it to understand).
Our mission, first and foremost is to have fun. We also want to provide a mostly accurate, quality reproduction of popular song’s, some you've heard, some you’ve never heard of and some you may have forgotten about. We enjoy re-creating lengthy, Blues, Rock and even a couple Country epics from days gone by that no trio in their right mind should attempt. But we think we can do anything after a few beers. We also tend to get a little smooth, funky, psychedelic, head banging and sometimes we'll even play a tear jerker or two. You might want to have tissue on hand, just in case!
Our collective musical taste is pretty far reaching and we like to present an eclectic mix of material each night to keep you interested.
