In the UK a product coming out of the producer costs 100%, then it goes to wholesaler who adds another 100% plus VAT, then to a shop, who adds another 100% + vat..... so the shopper pays out to all these plus gives the government 17.5% of all of that........baaaa baaaaaaa baaaaaaaa

i love my brothers. and my sisters. i hated those who oppressed us. now, my hatred is for what they did, which I can separate from their essential humaness, which was warped by their particular conditioning, as was mine by what they did to me.
my feeling of hatred for what people do, those who oppress, who coerce with violence, who manipulate with lies and who otherwise harm others, has only grown in tandem with my love for life, for all life.

thus, as I see it, conditioning kids to nag their parents to buy what is mostly pointless useless shite so that one may make a profit is as far as I am concerned, child abuse.
it is an direct inteference in the relationship between parent and child, inserts tensions where none ought to be, and since it starts so early, it sets up pyschological responses that are negative, rather than positive, that remain hidden and cause untold damage until they are revealed to the person.
even then, as we all know, it is really quite difficult to remove the negative pattern and learn a new one. It takes time, and effort.
the control freaks know this, and it serves their purpose that we spend a lot of time trying to sort our own heads out, leaving them free to continue their abuses.
