My name is Shawn Marie. My family calls me Shawn, my friends call me Marie. I am a 36 year old single mother of 2. First off, let it be known, I am not here for dating. I already have a man that makes me happy and I am not willing to sacrafice my happiness with him for anything! As far as I am concerned, nobody could ever fill his shoes. I am here to keep in touch with friends that I already have, and am willing to make new friends. Friends only! I am very outgoing and open minded. I like meeting people and making new friends. I am a very ambitious person. I put myself through college while raising my first child and recently decided to go back for yet another degree. This time however, I am raising 2 children, working full time while going to school full time. Doing all that leaves no room for BS. I like to shop, hang out with my friends, go out occasionally, and spend time with my kids. I am pretty laid back and easy going. I am the type of person that trusts people right away after meeting them. However, if you lose that trust, you never really gain it back from me. I tend to be the type of person that is there for you when you need me, no quesitons asked. Sometimes that tends not to be a good thing, I have been taken advantage of. However, again, if you lose my trust, you never gain it back. I believe in life, everything happens for a reason and that weather it is good or bad, it was the path that was chosen for you. I am a very independant, strong woman. Like most, I have been through a lot and have a lot of life experiences, which has molded me into the person that I am today. I never regret anything in my past, good or bad, I just take those experiences as a whole and make sure that I have gotten something out of it. I feel that if I get knocked down, I just need to come back fighting harder. I have raised my 2 children totally alone and because I strive for the best for my children, instead of whinning about the circumstances, it just makes me fight that much harder to be more successful in life. Life is precious and I thank GOD for giving me the strength and courage to be me. Real.
