My favorites are folksy female singers; Jaymay, Anna Nalick, Fiona Apple, A Fine Frenzy, Nicole Atkins, Brandi Carlile, Regina Spektor, Feist, Dido, Ingrid Michaelson, etc. I also like industrial/techno and German music; Einsturzende Neubauten, And One, Covenant, The Knife, Royksopp, VNV Nation, KMFDM, Apoptygma Berzerk, Funker Vogt, and others. Also, The Beatles, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Jim Croce, Cat Stevens, Harry Nilsson, The White Stripes, Goo Goo Dolls, The Decemberists, Counting Crows, and Radiohead. Although I am open to almost anything. I also love 20s-esque French music. Beautiful music that you would imagine being played in an old jazz club. I don't watch a lot of television.
I like Russian literature, dystopian novels, anything existential, and most of the classics. But, from time to time, I will read a modern fiction book. So, go me?
