Brief Biography: Sometime in 1997, Greg Loukmas(then guitar) and Chris Jones(then drums) got together in the New Center Area and planted the seed that would eventually become NURVCORE! After cutting their gums on the typical cover songs, Nick Qualls was brought in to sing. Several bass players and house parties later, Scott Hand took over vocals. Nick switched to guitar, and Greg switched to bass. With the lineup finally set, original songs became the focus. Soon after Scott joined, the band signed with Underearth (Harpo's) and was on their way, opening up for local heros Sponge and going on to share the stage with Shinedown, Silvertide, Josh Todd (Buckcherry), South Normal, The Brian Schram Band, and Crossfade. During this time they were able to build quite a fan base. Fast forward to 2005. Scott is gone and numerous singers come and go. Frustrated and ready to give up, Chris quits and joins Social Fever. After a brief stint with Social Fever, Chris rejoins NURVCORE and decides to take the mic into his own hands. Shortly after, Ryan Jones (Chris' lil bro) is brought in to take over the drums. With the lineup set again, the guys decide that something is missing. Enter Andrew Saleebs! With a second guitar, NURVCORE'S sound is finally complete. Or so we thought. After a brief hiatas for personal reasons, NURVCORE has been reformed. With everyone on board except Ryan, positions have been revised. Chris is back on drums and this new guy Josh McMurtrie from a band called Sorry24 is now the voice. With the new lineup, newer songs on the way, new sound, and studio time booked, world domination is now their focus. NURVCORE is back! Better and hungrier than ever! With a live show that is the cat's ass, and armed with riffs that shake the tits, the band is gaining momentum by the moment. Check 'em out and listen for yourself.
