..Reegan lost herself. The moment she grasped sight of the mysteriously handsome gentleman with the striking, cold eyes. Everything told her to avoid Jackson —to walk away, but she did not. She fell in love despite her resolve not to, ignoring his dishonest silence and the intimate night he spent with her childhood friend. Impetuously, Reegan relinquishes her home, career, and comfort to join Jackson in Atlanta, only to be greeted each morning with calls from the ex-fiancé who once occupied her space. As Reegan contends with the reality of her decision, she continues to harbor a secret from her best friend that ultimately challenges the stability of her friendship. Beautifully composed, Chasing Eden is an intricate novel of love and relationships and the wonderful ways they influence who we become.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

The beauty in life is its diversity, which often used to seperate us, is the most breathtaking expression of a wonderful existence. And what transends this rift and embraces our differences is words--the amazing power of a collection of letters that simply and quite eloquently can convey both a terrible occurence or an unrefined emotion. I long to meet lovers of words, whether the lover is an author, reader, or collector of expressions. Words are my passion. Please share it with me..._______________________________________________________ __ February 23, 2009, 8-10pm Black Author Network Radio Interview Black History Month http://www.blogtalkradio.com/Black-Author-Network/page/1 _________________________________________________________ March 6th, 9-2pm 5th Annual Meadowcreek Literary Conference Norcross, GA _________________________________________________________ April 1, 2009 National Poetry Month Event Poetry Workshop Greensboro Public Library Greensboro, NC _________________________________________________________ April 2, 2009, 6pm African American Literature Event Multicultural Resource Center The EUC @ UNCG Greensboro, NC _________________________________________________________ April 3-4, 2009 19th Annual Conference on African American Culture & Experience-UNCG Greensboro, NC __________________________________________________________ May 16, 2009 2-4pm Razor Blades Between My Teeth Relase Party Hyatt Place 1105 Navaho Dr. Raleigh, NC __________________________________________________________ June 26-27, 2009 MoSoul Poetry Festival Downton Greensboro, NC __________________________________________________________ July 12 NSF Summer Camp Bennett College Greensboro, NC
