I sit and stare at my keyboard and think to myself, what can I say that isn't going to sound cliche. Nothing. It all sounds cliche, we've heard it all before. So what sets us apart of each other? What makes me any different than the 6,524,742,324 other individual souls that inhabit this earth?Is it my hair cut?No.Is it my sense of style?Hell No.Then what?Well, my actions, my attitude, outlook on the world. The words I have written are nothing new and in fact it is rather cliche for me to even be writing these. But, I write them anyway. Stream of consciousness is nothing new to me. I enjoy this style, it is much more fitting to my thought process. I ramble, get off track very easily. Tangents are my playground, a playscape of the inner mind, somewhere to frolic like a child. I just guess that i'm a simple man. I enjoy the simplest of pleasures in this short life we live. A warm summer night, the winds of an incoming storm, the biting cold of winter. Not much winter in Texas but, I still love it the same.Honest people use no rhetoric; Rhetoric is not honesty. Enlightened people are not cultured; Culture is not enlightenment. Content people are not wealthy; Wealth is not contentment.So the sage does not serve himself; The more he does for others, the more he is satisfied; The more he gives, the more he receives. Music is like your soul, tastes ever changing, re-arranging. My main sonic loves are Psycho-billy, rock, ska, metal, post-hardcore, Boston hardcore, TXPSY, underground hip-hop, some rap, funk, fusion, this one will sound weird but, big band western swing.
