I Black Bunnies nascono nella primavera del 2006, dall'incontro di Beck's e Meddy, rispettivamente futuri chitarrista e cantante, sotto il nome di Lumos Dies. La formazione iniziale era composta da ben sei membri: Meddy alla voce e suo fratello Marci alla batteria, Elvis al basso elettrico, Negus e Beck’s alle chitarre elettriche e infine Mike alla tastiera. Il 24 febbraio 2007 il gruppo esordisce all’Arcibolognesi di Ferrara in occasione di una festa, presentando un piccolo repertorio composto da canzoni Rock e Punk, riscuotendo un discreto successo. Motivati e con molta voglia di divertirsi e fare musica, i sei ragazzi continuano a ritrovarsi e a provare insieme, preparandosi per un possibile concerto di fine anno al Liceo Classico Ariosto di Ferrara, ma poco tempo prima dell’esibizione, Mike decide di abbandonare la band per motivi personali. I cinque ragazzi rimasti decidono di cambiare il nome del gruppo in Black Bunnies e lavorano seriamente per musicare pezzi propri. I cinque amici cercano di fondere le loro influenze musicali, più o meno differenti l’una dall’altra, nel tentativo di creare pezzi originali. Finalmente, dopo prove costanti e miglioramenti, il gruppo ottiene un paio di serate al Berat Street, un piccolo locale ferrarese, fino all’autunno dello stesso anno, periodo in cui Marci lascia la band per divergenze musicali. I mesi seguenti sono impiegati dai quattro ragazzi rimasti a cercare un degno sostituto. Finalmente, verso la fine dell’anno, Beck’s introduce agli altri membri Nick, un ragazzo talentuoso e volenteroso, che stabilisce subito un buon rapporto con i nuovi compagni. I Black Bunnies sono ora attivi e con una formazione stabile, desiderosi di suonare, divertirsi e migliorarsi. Attualmente sono impegnati nel miglioramento di alcuni pezzi in occasione della registrazione di una possibile demo. Black Bunnies were born in early spring 2006, with the meeting of Beck’s and Meddy, which are the future gutarist and future singer, with the name Lumos Dies. The initial formation of the band was composed of six members: Meddy as the vocalist and his brother, Marci, at the drums, Elvis at the bass, Negus and Beck’s at the guitars and Mike at the keyboard. The 24th February 2007, the band makes its debut at the Arcibolognesi in Ferrara, in occasion of a party, presenting a little repertory of Rock and Punk songs, earning a fairly good success. Motivate and with the desire of enjoying themselves with make music, the six boys continue to meet themselves and rehearse togheter, trying to get ready for a possible concert on June at the Liceo Classico Ariosto of Ferrara, but some time before the exibithion, Mike decides to leave the band for personal reasons. The remaining five boys decide to change the name of the band from Lumos Dies to Black Bunnies, and they work seriously in order to make original tracks. The five friends try to blend their own musical influences, a little different one from another, attempting to create unique tracks. Finally, after costant reharse and a little emproving, the group obtain a few live night at Berat Street, small Pub in Ferrara, till autumn 2007, when Marci quits the band for musical divergences. One of the last concerts with Marci was on the Listone, in Piazza Trento Trieste, date that earned a good success. The last few months are spend by the four boys in order to find a new drummer to replace Marci. Finally, at the end of the year, Beck’s introduces Nick, a talented and willing boy, to the other members. The new drummer goes along well with the new companions. Black Bunnies are now in activity and with a stabile formation, with lust for music, fun and emprovement. Actually they’re busy with the emproving of some tracks in occasion of the registration of their first possible demo.
