About Me

The Frantic Arts are a 5 piece punkrock band from Styria/Austria, formed in autumn 2006. Their sound is influenced by dynamic hardcore parts as well as melodic components in two voices. The lyrics mostly deal with socialcritical themes or tell stories about everyday life. In September 2007 they recorded 3 demo tracks in the Studio 66 in Gleisdorf and a 7 track pre-production in the stress-studio in July 2008. After a long time of probation, the 5 guys are ready to rock the stages...

Influences: you will find our sound somewhere between punk and hardcore, bands like Strike Anywhere, Pipedown, Smoke Or Fire, No Trigger have a big influence over us ... but we think there is too much music to mention ... biggest influences are the ups and downs of life
