Sad Songs For Happy People

About Me

..
Sad Songs For Happy People is the highly promising project of... Oh, Fuck Off.

Quite simply, my name is Gary Griffiths and last Christmas I got a 4 track recorder, so I decided to write some songs.

Theyre not very good yet. Im still taking baby steps you see. But one day maybe they will be, who knows? But it doesn't matter either way really because now they exist and I hope someone, somewhere enjoys them, even if it just one person. So go ahead and have a listen because I'll almost certainly never play a live show due to a chronic shyness of the stage so streaming through a networking site is the best you'll get. I guess my ideology of music is to just keep things simple, dont rely on a good production level and hope the songs stand up by themselves. Everything I write is about someone I know and maybe you'll recognise yourself in one of these. If you dont, dont worry, I'm sure you'll make the next cut.

Thank you for listening :)

Memories of Travelling

Notes from the road; Its an idea chased. An answer that you'll find if you look outside the four walls that hold your bed, so I get on a plane. The rumbling of chatter and the never ending high pitche...
