EZAHN

I was born and grew up in "Sugnai Kolok".This is a main border town of Malaysia-Thailand border in Narathiwat Province, south of Thailand. I practiced my painting style until I was 18 years old, then I went to "Silapakorn" Art University, Bangkok, Thailand. Between 1999-2002 and in my time in University, I started to sell my paintings on the street. And so, I started to live from my Art.
I had my first exibition nine years ago on the Khao San Road Bangkok, just on the street so that many people could easily see my work. We were around 7 artists who worked together. I sold my painting on the street until 2006. then I opened a shop & Art gallery together with my friends. We are running this shop together until now.....
If time were to stand still and each one of us was to stop and think, there would be something moving in each individual’s mind. This abstract movement is an intangible force, or feeling…a feeling of happiness, sadness, loneliness, madness, anger, or emptiness. My inspiration was to transcend the literal and explore the hidden or concealed layers of emotions. These emotions include within them a desire, or lack thereof, to be disclosed and our internal selves do the screening process. It is this moment that is my focus, “Only This Moment” I am trying to capture.
