Hi, thanks for stopping by. I’ve been playing saxophone since 1970. I started in the school band in Hilo, Hawaii my hometown. I now reside in Las Vegas, Nevada. I found my Otto Link in Honolulu in 1977 and found my Mark VI in Seattle in 1978. Thanks for stopping by and check out my tunes. all the best, Wayne

Band Members: The music being played comes from two different recordings. "Tribute" and "The Rain Theory" are from a recording in 1992 with Mark Levine playing piano, John Wiitala playing bass and Eddie Marshall. "For All We Know" and "First Morning" are from "First Morning" on TNC Jazz Recordings. Stefan Karlsson on piano, Tom Warrington playing bass and Eliot Zigmund playing drums. Recorded in 2000.
Influences: I have a special place in my heart for Eddie Harris, Wilton Felder, Stanley Turrentine, Edgar Winter, Mike Brecker, Dave Sanborn, Bennie Maupin, Wayne Shorter, Zoot Simms, Joe Farrel, Grover Washington, Joe Henderson, Jerry Bergonzi, Tom Scott, John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Jaco Pastorius, Gabe Baltazar,Warne Marsh and many others. My saxophone teachers Gary Washburn, Jimmy Mosher and George Garzone.
