I'm Derek Patterson. I'm a life long artist born and raised in Louisiana. Ever since I was young I've had an eye for art. I have studied and practiced drawing and painting throughout my life. Today I'm 25 years old, and I'm proud to say that I have collectors all over the world. My style is whimsical and abstract to express each of my subject's emotion and spirit. Most of my subjects are derived from the inspirations that surround me. Music, culture, heritage, all have a big part in my work. My goal is to share my art with the world.
