I am 34 years young and rediscovering life as I know it.. The year is 2007 and I am taking it all in with a "NEW" pair of eyes. If you asked me what my outlook on the life that I was experiencing in January 2006 I probably would have said my "world has been turned UpSideDoWn and I don't know which way was up! I would have been negative, pessamistic, and said that I don't believe in fairytales anymore...so GO AWAY!!!" However, it is now January 2007 and life couldnt be sweeter! I am humbled by all of the heartache, heartbreak, dissappointment, and Enough Character Building for 2 lifetimes. Although, it was some of the most life altering experiences that I have ever had to endure. I don't know if I could have really appreciated everything that I have experienced today! I have a new Leash on life and have met a friend that I will cherish for life. I have built relationships with my kids or should I say I have been blessed with the wisdom that my kids have shown me. The unconditional love that they have taught me.. and have helped open the door to remind me that I deserve to be happy and that I deserve to be treated like a lady and be appreciated for just being who I am. That brings me to a person that I must thank for allowing me to be a part of his and his families life. (We were both HATERS!! huh..) and when we weren't looking for anyone we were placed in eachothers life... everything happens for a reason and I am thanking God for allowing Robert to come into my world and turn my frown UpSiDeDoWn. Here is a pondering thought.. "Have you ever had a person touch your soul and know that this person will live inside of you forever?" I will have to tell you that it is not exactly a fairytale but It is the most wonderful love that I have ever experienced and I look forward in continuing the journey of making memories... Because I am learning that if you just slow down and enjoy that first kiss, that first laugh, the first look.. You will enjoy this ride that we call life.. & when you hear those words..."slow down.. I'm not going anywhere...." It is the "nuts and cherry" on top of an already yummy sundae :) FYI: My SUNDAE HAS MELTED.... and I don't BELIEVE IN ANYTHING ANYMORE
