music probably occupies the largest percentage of my brain. pretty much the only time i am not listening to music is when i am asleep, half the time i am dreaming about it anyway. i have loved music since i was very small. i still remember the very first moment a piece of music grabbed me and affected me in a way that still happens to me every once in a while when i hear a new song. i was six, i was standing in my driveway and i heard a song coming from my neighbour's radio. something happened inside me, i had to know what it was, and who it was and everything about it. it was john farnham. i have never forgotten that moment and that feeling. i have been a superfan of music ever since.
next is photography. combine the two and i'm set. taking photos is what i do. you should visit my website , and i have a couple of thousand photos, this is always the most up to date, on flickr , so you should check that out too. photography, the way i would like to do it is expensive, so i take photos with my digital camera to keep myself sane (is it working??). i work as a photographer for local bands, i take photos at gigs and i do "press" shoots which get used in street press etc and sometimes even rolling stone. i also do "street" photography for want of a better term. check out my photos, you'll see what i mean, i hate trying to explain it. i have about ten cameras, i use about four of them, some of them are broken. i have a new found love for polaroids since i found a polariod camera in perfect working order in hard rubbish, even though i already had one that is almost identical only a newer model. i only wish the film for it was cheaper!
other things i love include... my friends, riding bikes, frisbee, snowdomes, getting things in the mail (that aren't bills), scarfs, robots, cold weather, writing with felt tip pens, ninjas, making compilations, getting compilations, trams, heaters, the excitement of getting a new cd, walking around for hours, savers, days off, sleeping, peanut butter on toast, the empire state building, weird dreams...
also i love oversized versions of everyday objects, like that ad where the woman brings a giant sandwich to work, or those giant foam hands, man i love that stuff, it makes my heart smile.
