The 1984 in Magdeburg born Robert von Haugwitz is definitely part of a new, wild generation of techno-artists, which are extremly hip in the moment. He started listening to his first Techno – Mixtapes in the tender age of 12. And at the same time he sticked with both ears on his radio, just not to miss a second of Technoprograms like Rave Satelite. It was only consequent that he than started to tinker his own Mixtapes out of this Techno – Radioshows. From the beginning music was his most important interest. Than, 1999, the next dramatic experience for him: he visited for the first time the Tresor in Berlin, and because the Bonito House Club at Wednesday was the hottest shit in thes late Tresor-Days, his musical club - cultivation started here. Roberts were allways at the dancefloor, because there you get the best sound. He was addicted to the Bonito – Sound and therefore regular guest till his relocation to Austria. As a realisic person he decided at age of 15 to do “Sound”. Naturally he started to organize every necessary software sequenzer and he began “learning by doing”. Robert is a true autodidact. HarryKleinNetworks is proud to present his debut with this netlabel - ep. The relocation to the mountains produced for Robert a lot of time to get in closely contact with his new muse, the electronic dancemusic. And so he is now producing since a couple of years club-compatible music. His way to produce music is striktly “new school”, that means no old, cryptic analog machines, only digital sound production. Robert is not interested in analog warmness, because, for him, every sound can be produced digital with musical understanding and gut musical hearing. Trends in the electronic dancemusic and in the way to produce this music are for him interesting, but not obligatory for himself. More important is, that in every sound allways is a place for a wink in one’s eye. He describes his tracks as impellent, melodic to abstract music. For stereotyped thinking is no place.
