About Me

TJ McCall was concieved on a drunken night during a showing of "Herbie The Love Bug" at the ShowStopper drive in off hwy 19 in Talahasse, Florida to Gertie and John John McCall. TJ (Which stands for Tee Jay) always loved music which he inherited from his daddy who spent every Tuesday and the 3 monday of every month fronting his blues/country/jazz fusion trio "Big John and the Tag-Alongs". At age 7 TJ was touring country fairs playing and busking for cash. Tragedy struck the McCall clan when Gertie was killed in a freak chickenwing accident. The incident is best described in TJ's hit "Momma,What Are You Doing With That ChickenWing?" By the time TJ moved out of Talahasse and headed over to nashville he had already picked up quite a following and a nasty habit of huffing glue. Many legal woes kept TJ out of the recording studio and on the run from "the man", including the 1995 arrest for taking lewd doody pictures of the unsuspecting patrons in the Chang Charlies Noodle House restroom. Spending time in prison was a wake up call for McCall and he vowed upon his release to finallly make good on his promise. with all his proverbial ducks in order TJ Finally settled into the recording studio pouring out his heart in gutt-wrenching epics like "My Name Is TJ", "Road Dog" and the show climaxing "Sex Spider". As for the future, TJ McCall doesnt know where it leads but he's been practicing all day.
