However, Candelas was founded in a small Mexican town 70 years ago by Tomas' Grand Uncle and Grandfather, two young orphaned brothers who played the guitar but recognized their calling by building the guitars they played. Any claim to the Candelas name brand and history by any other entity should be viewed as bogus and illegal. Rest assured that there is only one Candelas Guitar Shop producing the Candelas Brand of Guitars. Candelas Guitars is the only entity legally authorized to produce, reproduce, copy and distribute under the names Candelas, Candelas Guitars or Candelas Inc. As always Candelas Guitars warranties the guitars it makes for the life of the guitar.
