Influences: Parkwright is a five piece rock band based out of center city Philadelphia. The band is made up of George Farrell on vocals, CJ Morgan on bass and vocals, Paul Hocynec on lead guitar, Chris "Wags" Wagner on guitar, and Chris Mehr on drums. This young band has been together for only a year and already have accomplished a great deal. They opened for the Plain White T's, Headlined several college concerts and festivals and have played many of Philadelphia's premier musical venues including; Doc Watson's, World CafÃ© Live , and The Fire. During this time they self recorded and released a five song EP entitled "West of Love" which garnered them much attention. Parkwright is a Rock and Roll band that has drawn comparisons to the Counting Crows, Jack Johnson, The Black Crows and Pearl Jam. The band's live experience, fronted by the captivating Farrell, has an energy that rivals that of any arena act out there and has put the band in the category of "You have got to see them live". The band moved to the city just within the last couple of months to really attack the music world as hard as they can, and, with the release of the upcoming self titled EP they are definately equipped to. Parkwright has started a brushfire made up of a constantly growing fan base, an intense work ethic, and a passion that shows no signs of letting up.
