I'd like to meet:
The movement is forming. From the fold out table informal games in garages to casinos around the world, we play poker.
Poker has become the largest spectator and participation sport in the world. The time has come.
Let's make Poker an Olympic Sport in 2012.
All participants will adhere to the rules as stated in the Olympic Charter. Most notably, the anti-doping policy. International Poker Federation Association will conduct effective out-of-competition tests in accordance with the established rules.
This compititon will be open to all Poker athletes. Thus, the tournament will be co-ed. men, women and disabled will compete on a level playing field. There will be no weight classes, like boxing or judo.
This is a competition for the love of the game. As in all sporting events, there will be smaller cash prizes for winning, not like $8 million (WSOP). There will be a Medal Ceremony.
