What exactly is L.U.M.A. looking to do?
After two years of running local shows out of other
people's buildings, we are ready to move into our own
building. It's time for us to become what we set out
to do. A large music and art center. After searching
for a suitable building for a year, it has come to
having to build from scratch. From the foundation to
the finer details. The center would have a large venue
area, recording studio, practice rooms, art gallery,
and a workshop area for the arts. There are eventual
projects down the line to further expand, but these
basic services are the core of what we are going to
offer. As L.U.M.A. has done before, we will continue
to put on charity shows/events, and we do plan to
start up some community-involved projects to help not
only the artistic community, but also the general
community as well.
How do you help?
Right now we are currently looking for investors with
interest in projects like this. And we are looking for
artists and musicians who would like to be a part of
the experience, whether it is online exposure or
furture work later.
Investors can contact Doug Hill at
[email protected] . We can discuss anything you
wish and set up a meeting if you so choose.
Artists may contact Doug Hill at [email protected]
as well currently we are looking to add more art work
to the website and would be happy to spotlight some
artists on it.
Bands may contact Brian Prestopic at
[email protected] and join the many band
contacts. Eventually we will have a spotlight section
for bands, and eventually we will have shows again.
Please keep us up to date with your band's situation
as we do like to hear about the local community.
