Aerial Dance and Fitness: (Mondays 6:30-7:30, Wednesdays 6:30-7:30 and 7:45-8:45) Bored of your workout? Looking for new creative outlet? Ready to get in the best shape of your life? Climb to new heights and learn the art of aerial dance. This class gives students a general overview of aerial dance and fitness. Students will learn about the different equipment, safety issues, body conditioning, injury prevention work and spotting technique. We will take you through a series of comprehensive strength, flexibility and balance exercises all utilizing the trapeze and aerial fabrics to help you achieve your personal fitness goals. This is a great way for you to quickly gain upper body and core strength, flexibility, tone and sculpt, and increase body awareness, all in a new way – in the air. In addition, students will learn fundamental technique on various aparatus including circus trapeze, dance trapeze and aerial fabrics. As the class progresses students will begin sequencing moves and learning bits of choreography. No experience necessary for this class.
Karobics: (Thursdays 7-8pm): Overwhelmed with Stress?? ... Then Shake it off and empty yourself with KAROBICS! This spicy non-conservative class whisks you straight to a jammin' Caribbean party.....The pulsating rhythms gets your blood pumping and your hips jirating as you punta, whine, jump up & wave!!! KAROBICS will get you ready for Carnival or that trip you have planned to the Caribbean!! So come, let Shalini put some spice in your taste and a wine in your waist!! Everyone can party with her... The music is gauranteed to move everything you got!! One warning... You'll come dry... But you will leave wet wet wet!!!
