Sasson levy is a master of Flamenco music. He is a Cajon player Drummer and a versatile Percussionist. Sasson is based in Tel-Aviv, Israel and considered one of the world’s best.
Sasson has worked across a wide range of musical styles, from traditional musical forms to contemporary experimental styles, theatre collaborations, multimedia and audio/visual work, live percussion loop sampling, dance groups and many fusion collaborations.
Sasson journey into drums and percussions began in the mid 1970's, since when he has explored and experimented with instruments and concepts from various musical forms, particularly flamenco and many more styles such as salsa, Brazilian music, jazz , pop and fusion.
From the late 80s to 2000 Sasson studied in San Diago many forms of south American music and grooves. In the mid 80s sasson began working with a San Diego based flamenco groups. Mastering flamenco, compass and form.
Since then he had the chance to work with people such as Paco De Lucia, Vicente amigo, Yasmin and many more flamenco greats in Spain, Israel and around the word.
Sasson travel regularly to Spain where he plays and gives master classes.
