My musician friends encouraged me to check out MySpace, that's why I'm here.
Me? In my spare time I frequently pick up one of my guitars and play for my own entertainment and the challenge of learning new tunes.
I alternate between an Aria AD-35N acoustic and a Steinberger GL. I also have a 72 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe that used to be my main guitar until I bought the Steinberger for a trip to Marrakesh.
I bought it for its size and because of that, its so handy to keep around it's become my main electric. I also have a Gibson-Epiphone PR-5E for those occasional, rare free moments at my office.
Right before I went to Brazil for December I bought a Danlectro 59-DC for that Black Mountain Side" sound you can't get with anything else.
In Natal I picked up a dreadnought flat-top for during the holiday and just left if there for the next time we go there so I don't have to travel with a guitar.
I've added a couple more guitars to my collection, the limited first edition Gibson Les Paul Robot guitar with automatic tuning and Zager ZAD-80CE single cutaway acoustic with Fishman electronics. The Zager was made to spec by Martin and set up by Denny Zager himself.
Timewise, guitar is a small but important part of how I spend my time. I do more than just noodle on the guitar, there's a wikipedia entry on me for anyone who's that interested. ..
