---I want you to know that if I had the choice of hanging out with anyone in the entire world, or staying at home with you, eating pizza, and watching a crappy TV show... I'd choose you every time.---
The act of going out on my own has brought with it an intense sensation of nostalgia and sentimentalism. I feel myself homesick, in a way, for a fuzzy time just outside of my recollection; I am grasping for abstract moments that perhaps never were. There are, though, several warm faces that light my way and several strong emotions that string me along. These faces, they are blurred replicants of friends, loved ones, and acquaintances. Friends, with whom I spent many ringing moments of both joy and sorrow; loved ones, those faces that have always been there and those that haven't, though I've grow to love them deeply; and acquaintances, whom I feel the distinct pang within telling me that I should have opened my soul towards more, knowing that their souls would have been bright and beautiful to look at.Somewhere amidst all three, your face floats. -- Me 9/01/06

You know that point in your life when you realize that the house that you grew up in isn't really your home anymore? All of the sudden even though you have some place where you can put your stuff that idea of home is gone. You'll see when you move out it just sort of happens one day one day and it's just gone. And you can never get it back. It's like you get homesick for a place that doesn't exist. I mean it's like this rite of passage, you know. You won't have this feeling again until you create a new idea of home for yourself, you know, for you kids, for the family you start, it's like a cycle or something. I miss the idea of it. Maybe that's all family really is. A group of people who miss the same imaginary place.
