I am facing the reality that I have been out of college for over three years and that is a bit wierd, especially since I still have one class left. I intend to go back for my master's within the next year or so, but until then I am enjoying life day by day.I am the manager of a chain of music stores in southern california and I think it is probably one of the best ways to pay the bills out there. I am a musician and I try to be knowledgeable in as many instruments as possible, however I do not have much time to practice.I love going to shows of almost any kind, from huge once in a lifetime shows,(radiohead is coming up in august)to crazy dive bar indie shows. Ioeven care if I have only heard the band once. I love fashion as well, and it seems to be increasing the older I get. And it is not so much that I love vogue, cosmo, or pop culture fashion, though at times it can be fascinating, I just love seeing how many different looks I can create with my wardrobe and how I can look preppy one day, indie the next and hardcore the next. This is something that I do on a regular basis. (gotta keep the fans guessing) and I don't care if to you that makes me look like I am a poser. I am not into labels. I am gonna dress how I wanna dress.
My friends and family are infinitely important to me. I would be nothing without them. I would do anything for them. They are irreplaceable.
Lately, I have been trying to engage myself more intellectually and philosophically, since I have been slacking in this area since I got out of college. Because of this, I feel that I am learning more about myself and the person that I want to be because of this. My boyfriend is wonderful and always keeps my guessing and challenged in this department.
I am always up for a good challenge in life whatever it maybe.
