Blind Alley State

Blind Alley State originate from Blackburn Lancashire and were a four piece Alternative Metal band that formed in 1997.The band had a big local following and played many shows across the UK and gained themselves a solid reputation.The band found themselves listed and written about in many local newspaper articles,and quickly found their growing army of fans multiply at a rapid rate.This culminated in the band playing their biggest show in early 1998 at Blackburn College to a packed crowd which alerted record company interest to the four piece.However the band suffered through 1998 with the breakdown in the relationships of the four members and unfortunately called a premature end to the band in early 1999It has since been said by many people that Blind Alley State were a band who were a number of years too early for their time,and that the band would sit strong in the current day musical climate as opposed to the earlier years were they were surrounded by the contrasting "Britpop" and "Indie" era.
