Rizzi Drums

Rizzi wants to rock. Started holding sticks and hitting drums at 4 years old in upstate NY. It's beyond a passion, it's a way of life, it's in the blood. His influences range from Ringo, John Bonham, Keith Moon and Buddy Rich. Rizzi always wants to do what he does best as a drummer, which is  complimenting a song. That's his definition of a great drummer. Toured relentlessly and recorded many albums with different artists over the last 20 years. In 1998, Rizzi was recruted to join "Five Eight", a band that has survived 18 years in the industry. He's recorded 3 albums with the band.  In 2004 Five Eight had the honor to be asked to open for REM on their "Around the sun" world tour.  Five Eight has shared the stage with other acts as well including Cheap Trick, The Ramones, Seven Mary Three, Cracker, and the Go Go's. Between the tours, he wrote and recorded an instrumental album under the name Greedy Robots. In 2007 Rizzi recieved an unexpected call from his childhood friend to form a band. This led Rizzi to pack up his belongings and to move out to LA to form the Ghost Hounds. He's serves as the bands drummer, sharing the stage with fantastic musicians, including Slash. Album recorded with Nile Rodgers producing and Bob Clearmountain on the boards. Rizzi challenges himself with different session work and live performances, and diving into the world of Music Supervision for films and Documentaries. His true love is drumming a Rock and Roll pulse.Check out some footage!
