About Me

There are so many things I could tell: my quirks, my idiosyncracies, or my peculiarities, but I have a tendency to believe that I've already lost you...It was that 6 syllable word, wasn't it?live welllaugh oftenlove much..There is nothing I can say about myself that you haven't already deduced....

My Interests

music
feeds
the
soul

I'd like to meet:

Doom, dooom, dah, doom doom, doom, dah, dooom, doooooom!

Music:

most forms of edm, idm, and ebm....breaks, dnb (especially atmospheric), hard house etc. there's a whole list of other various forms of music i dig....lately i've been listening to a lot of incubus, portishead, jack johnson, jem, fiona apple, dream theater, thievery corporation, frou frou, chicane, the cure, type o, depeche mode, android lust, wumpscut, computorgirl, autechre, imogean heap...

Movies:

heathers, amelie, À la folie...pas du tout, moonstruck, fear and loathing, kalifornia, suicide club, garden state, liberty heights, lock stock, edward scissorhands (and any tim burton film), usual suspects, smoochy, fight club, snatch, eternal sunshine, true romance, .....and then, of course, all the classics: breakfast club, sixteen candles, true romance, stand by me, labryinth...

Television:

im not really a big tv watcher, but most of the shows i do watch are cartoons: home movies, futurama, family guy, aeon flux, the simpsons, the state, the grim adventures of billy and mandy, kids in the hall...

Books:

christopher moore; david sosnowski; hunter s. thompson: hell's angels, fear and loathing; ayn rand: anthem, atlas shrugged, the fountainhead; the politics of justice; vampires the occult (haha); shopgirl; she's come undone; baggage; memoirs of a geisha; the chosen; brett easton ellis novels; chuckie p. (as i like to call him after watching his documentary) with the likes of choke, stranger than fiction and lullaby.....and then there's augusten burroughs of running with scissors and other delightful diddies. sounds cliche, but i've grown a liking for books that explain the messed up and damaging scenarios that play out behind closed doors. they give me the quiet sensibility and wide-eyed realization that my life isn't quite as rotundly bizarre as i've grown to believe.

I Had a Spell...

You know, one where you don't get out of bed for a few days. I skipped work 3 days this week. I really wasn't feeling well, but there's nothing like having Crohn's disease to give ya an excuse. There...

Wedddingidding

The whole shabang is starting to take some shape. But let me tell you: ELOPE! No, just kidding. While it has been stressful, I think the end results will be worth it. I've got a good bit of the little...

Shame on Me....

I really should have saved that post about shooting lemons out of a cannon a la H.S. Thompson for today...and tomorrow...and the next day....and well, the unspecified future.... I'm sitting under a le...

I Must Profess....

My affection for Anthony Bourdain. The man is a genius. Whilst pursuing a prolific writing career (that makes him cringe), he has also found his status as an executive chef and food critic. On top of...

For a Stranger...

My words will go on without a listen, but sadly, herein lays advice that will never be sought. Perhaps it is my independent spirit or my cynical soul that makes my perception more than jaded.  Yo...

Yayzers, w00tzers and All the Zers Between

Note: Stop reading now. I'm about to bore you.   Woke up today in a generally good mood after staying up late with Adam last night. We decidedly had to watch 300 for the 300th time.  Anyway...
