About Me
My real name is Christopher, I was born May 27th under the sign of Gemini, ever since I was a wee thing, I've always been into music of all types, around age 5, I liked to listen to classical music rap and hip-hop, at age 6 when Douggie Fresh and the Fat Boys were the sh*t, I listened to them a lot, I found that, I aso had that ability to make Beats vocally, instead of singing in the shower like a lot of people do, I beatboxed. This and classical music made me predisposed to listening to music and percussive parts of music rather than the vocal part. I can remember the beat of a song just from listening to it once, On the down side, to this day, I can't remember the lyrics of a song to save my life. And in order to describe any song, I beatbox the beat instead of singing the lyrics. At age 14, I started going to teen clubs, where I discovered House music, and Techno. In 1997, I started going to clubs in Manhattan, Twilo: which is closed down now, was my favorite. Every time I went there I became more educated about sound from DJs all over the world. After seeing DJs such as Carl Cox, Misstress Barbara, Paul Van Dyke, etc. Producing Techno became a big interest to me. In 98' I discovered the Rave scene WHOOOOAAA! The sounds of the underground pretty much secured my interest of wanting to produce. And a lot of my friends that went to parties became DJs, I wasn't the only one hit by the music. The beats that pounded out of those speakers were bananas! When my buddies got their turntables, I showed my support whenever I could. In 2001 I was working at a good place that paid well and I bought a Yamaha Rm1x. But one sequencer was not enough, I'm a Gemini remember. In 2002 My dad passed away and left my Brother and I some money. Which I invested into a Roland SP 808, a Stanton mixer and a Yamaha RS7000 by this time though, hip hop was making it's moves to take over, but I still produced Techno at home as a hobby. My music has improved insanely. In 2004 I moved to Cape Vincent, way upstate NY near Canada and was severely culture shocked!! Cows, Farms, and Country music YEE HAW!!!. But nowadays, I'm looking to collaborate with an experienced DJ/Producer who knows the scene and can help me a bit, (NOT FINANCIALLY!!!) Now I'm 28 still living up here. I'm engaged and have a beautiful Fiance and a Daughter who I love so much, and a dream that I'm still striving towards. I'm still producing, at home but now it's time to get out there. To my Techno Soldiers!!!! General BEATZ is still here and we "GOTTA MAKE IT (A) M.A.S.(s) S.A.V.E.!!" it is an opportune time. I love and miss you all, LONG ISLAND, BROOKLYN, MANHATTAN, QUEENS keep up the good work, do your thing. hope to see you soon. P.L.U.R. guys layout powered by HOT FreeLayouts.com / MyHotComments
