'Imagination is more important then knowledge…'Amy Fasola (29-03-09) is a young talented and beautiful singer/song writer. The combination of her talent, gorgeous looks and creative mind makes her destined to become a success! Her mother discovered that her youngest child Amy had a great voice when she was only three years old, and tells how she knew when her toddler was awake by the sound of her singing voice. Amy her self says: "To me it's natural to sing everyday, that just happens automatically it's like a switch that I can't turn off. Amy's brother and sister are also musically talented but only Amy wants to pursue a career in music.
So far she has enjoyed giving a lot of gigs at different occasions and festivals, and played with various musicians, she loves working with multi talented people. It makes my world bigger then ever when I hear somebody else sing or play an instrument, it's like a different kind of love you never experienced before. At the age of 8 she started to think up songs and melody's of her own, and wrote poetry that are now included in her songs. 'When you don't believe or feel a song you should not sing it'
Writing is her passion, she thinks that everybody should put their feelings and thoughts on paper and totally believes in its relaxing effect which gives one a clear mind and works like therapy for her. Amy has got some killer songs and is coming out with an album on the 29 of march in 2009.
One of her goals is to play with more amazing musicians and learn allot along the way.'Aim for success, not perfection. Never give up your right to be wrong, because then you will lose the ability to learn new things and move forward with your life'
