About Me

Ok, what to say, what to say..... Well, my name is Amanda (obviously), and I was born and raised in Colorado. My likes are the colors bright green and orange, peaches, cheek bones (hee hee), the word giggle, sports, orange soda, and anything that has to do with being outside (hiking, camping, rafting, rock climbing, etc). I collect watches and movies with Tom Hanks in them. I'm currently going to school for athletic training, and am hoping to someday work for a professional sports team (preferably football, baseball, or hockey) or for the olymipcs.

My Interests

Hanging out with friends, music, movies, sports, being outside, playing games, and ya know, pretty much anything that sounds fun. I love going to things live -- like concerts, comedians (I heart Dane Cook!), and sporting events. I really enjoy traveling and visiting new places. It doesn't have to be far away, but as long as it's not here. : P

I'd like to meet:

I'd pretty much give my left arm to meet Tom Hanks, Brett Favre, and/or Todd Helton.

Music:

I LOVE MUSIC!!!! I don't have a certain type of music that like more than others. From punk to hip-hop to rock to country, and everything in between. My favorites are probably Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blink-182, Sublime, Simple Plan, The Fray, The Shins, Daughtry, Neal McCoy, Dierks Bentley, etc. I could go on forever! I'm really into a lot of local bands as well.

Movies:

I enjoy movies. What movies I watch depends on the mood that I'm in... My all time favorite movie is "Sleepless in Seattle". I also like all of the Harry Potter movies, and most Disney movies. I'm currently working on watching all the movies on my list of 100 greatest movies of all time. I absolutely LOVE every Tom Hanks movie that I've ever seen, hince the fact that I collect his movies.

Television:

I enjoy TV all together. I do have to admit that I'm absolutely OBSESSED with American Idol, House, and Scrubs. I still like the shows that I watched as a kid... like Home Improvement, Full House, 7th Heaven, and Boy Meets World. I like many of the crude cartoons, like Family Guy, South Park, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force. I spend a lot of time watching sports center & ESPN.

Books:

I LOVE READING! I absolutely love all of the Harry Potter books. I love The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (funniest book of all time), Angels and Demons, and Lord of the Flies. I'm really into the Stephanie Plum series right now -- only on book 9. My favorite authors are probably Dave Pelzer, Janet Evanovich, and John Grisham.

Heroes:

My heroes would probably be my grandpa and my middle school band teacher, Mr. Argo. They have both taught me so much.
